Crowd at noon
With the great help from the local government and the tourist department, the co-operation of farmers, engineers, subcontractors and local service providers we tried to set up a satisfying and sustainable experience for the visitors from all over the world. I worked as an architect and liaison officer in terms of planning the infrastructure and negotiating with the local farmers and authorities.
We leased 180 acres of land from the farmers and looked for months all over India for appropriate tent suppliers for all the pilgrims’ accommodation, since we could not build anything permanent on this agricultural land.
