Khedup Tashi

“I was born in Tibet but in Tibet I couldn’t get knowledge and after 22 years I was very sad because I didn’t learn anything. Maybe in my former life I was very interested in studying but in this one I didn’t get a chance to go to school. Somebody said to me, ‘Go to India and there you can get knowledge, go to a monastery it is free.’ So I left and at 23-years old I started to learn the Tibetan alphabet.”

“The beauty of the world lies in the view of the beholder. If I see the beauty in every person, then my reality tells me that everybody is beautiful”

Chose to leave Tibet and his family in order to acquire knowledge and education in India when he was 22-years old. Now lives in the Nyingmapa Monastery in Bylakupee, South India.
